This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.

I would like to be the air
that inhabits you for a momentonly. I would like to be that unnoticed
& that unnecessary.
–Margaret Atwood, “Variation on the Word Sleep”
The mask you wore to the party comes off easily
I’ll take the other one off in a moment
The one you wear every day
Hiding who you are from the world
From yourself

I begin the knots, right above my breastbone
and a feeling of calmness descends upon me
I feel focused, centered, for I know how to do this
With the second knot, below my breasts
I feel my breathing deepen
My mind focused on that bright light
that makes him the center of my universe
